During their discussion, Year 7 learners creatively displayed the problems in the Horn of Africa. They made a small boat to represent piracy and a tiny pond to explain solutions. This fun and imaginative approach helped them understand how piracy, overfishing and climate change affect people in the region. By thinking outside the box, the students showed that even young minds can come up with good ideas to improve situations.
