The English Modern School, Khor recently hosted a lecture by dietitian Ms. Michelle from Hamad Hospital for Year 5 and 6 students. The lecture was titled “Healthy Eating” and covered topics such as a balanced diet, the five food groups, the importance of physical activity, and lifelong habits to reduce the risk of chronic disease. The session concluded with an informative, hands-on activity in which students demonstrated what a healthy plate should look like.
