In Year 1, we have bee exploring Qatar’s identity through two key themes: In our integrated unit “Our World” we investigated how to keep Qatar’s beaches safe. This helped us understand why it’s important to take care of nature. In our math lessons, we gained practical knowledge about money and understanding Qatari Riyal. We talked about what products are made in Qatar and how can we use money in real life situations. We made our own math problems using products from Qatar and Qatari Riyal.
