Year 4 Team Leader

My name is Simona Emilia Riciu and I am from Romania.  I have been teaching for more than two decades , having a Master degree of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies at SUNY Buffalo, New York USA.

It has been a privilege to be part of the English Modern School community for the past 10 years and I am happy to continue supporting my year 4 team in my role as Team Leader.

 Throughout my career in education I have strived to make a positive impact on the lives of my students and to engage them in meaningful thinking and learning.  I became a teacher for a very simple reason – I want to make a difference, and I feel that education is the one in which I can have the greatest impact. 

The opportunity to ignite a spark in students’ learning is what fuels my passion for teaching.

 I look forward to a year of shared growth, communication, and collaboration that benefits our students and strengthens our EMSW family.
