My name is Azam Rihan, The Arabic Department Leader. This is my 10th year at The English Modern School. I am from Jordan. I worked in Jordan for 15 years teaching and coordinating in one of the prestigious international schools in Amman. I have a master’s degree in Islamic, and a higher diploma in Information and Communication Technology in Education, and I was the first in my batch.
I attended many educational courses and workshops that helped me effectively in leading the Department of Arabic, Islamic and Qatari History.
I am proud to be part of a great team at an outstanding school in Qatar, English Modern School. I believe in our school’s inspiring vision, profound mission, wise management, and dedicated team, who spare no effort in doing their best to empower our students to achieve lifelong learning.
Last but not least, I believe in our dear students, in their great potential and in their passion for challenge and learning. I believe that all the teaching strategies, facilities, learning resources, and the advanced technology that the school provides, are not magic, but our children are.
I look forward to meeting our students, and to a prosperous new academic year full of life.

أنا عزام ريحان، منسق قسم اللغة العربية. هذه هي سنتي العاشرة في المدرسة الإنجليزية الحديثة، من الأردن، عملت في الأردن مدة 15 سنة في التدريس والتنسيق في واحدة من مدارس عمّان الدولية العريقة، حاصل على درجة الماجستير في الشريعة الإسلامية، وحاصل على درجة الدبلوم العالي في تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في التربية، وكنت الأول على دفعتي. التحقت بدورات وورش عمل تربوية عديدة ساعدتني على قيادة فريق قسم اللغة العربية والتربية الإسلامية والتاريخ القطري بفاعلية.
أنا فخور بانضمامي لفريق رائع في مدرسة عريقة في دولة قطر، المدرسة الإنجليزية الحديثة. أؤمن برؤية مدرستنا الملهِمة، ورسالتها العميقة، وإدارتها الحكيمة، وفريقها المتفاني، الذين لا يدخرون جهدًا في بذل كلّ ما في وسعهم لتمكين الطلبة من تحقيق التعلم مدى الحياة.
وأخيرًا وليس آخرُ، أؤمن بطلبتنا الأعزاء، وبإمكاناتهم العظيمة، وشغفهم للتحدي والتعلم، فكل ما توفره المدرسة من استراتيجيات تدريس، وخدمات، ومصادر تعلم، وتكنولوجيا متطورة ليست سحرًا، بل أبنائنا هم السحر.
