ECE Different Stages of Salad Preparation (16 January 2020)

Lots of learning happening at ECE!
On Thursday, ECE students took advantage of the pleasant weather and assembled outside, to be involved in different stages of salad preparation. Our young learners harvested the vegetables: cucumber, lettuce, spring onions, radish and cilantro from our garden. They washed them and teachers and assistants chopped and tossed them together to prepare a salad. Students enjoyed the salad and came back asking for more!!
Thank you, Ms. Joan Marie for being an active participant during the preparation. In addition to enjoying the salad, our students learned the importance of respecting and caring for all living things of our environment in the process of growing and nurturing plants.
